New Me

Well then, I just got back from Bangkok early this morning, and boy did I pamper myself there or what!!! Read on then...

I went to the hotel spa to have myself a hot wrap of dark chocolate!! You read it rite, the tiny Thai lady smothered me in dark melted chocolate, which I presume is non edible, of course, wrapped me up in something like a very large gladwrap and a heated-pad for about 1 hour!! But I have to admit that I somewhat became claustrophobic towards the end, I suppose it was because I felt like I was mummified. I'm sure it does not make sense to all you ladies-who-do-not-pamper yourself, I don't really care.

Then....she came in and said, "We go wash now madam" Now hold your horses....me no lemon ok, so don't let your imagination run wild eh! After the wash, I had a full hour massage, not them kinky ones, I know what you lot are thinking, but just my back and my feet.......now, after a 6 hour over-night flight, you do tend to bottle up your gasses, so when that lady was pushing my spine, @"£$ing hell it was tough....really tough to hold back!

I ended my pampering session with a facial.....all that for 3 full hours for only about AED500!!! What a bargain, I tell you. Last year for my birthday, Dave booked me at the Six Senses at the Madinat Jumeirah(for those overseas, that's like the spa at the Ritz-Carlton Singapore) for only an hour at AED400! Oh no! Dave reads this....hope he won't get any idea. hahahhaha

Well, I am officially sick today. For whatever reason, I don't really care. I just don't feel like working. How I spent the day, well, woke up at noon, went down to the beach, had lunch, came back, chilled out, went to get my medical cert and viola, here I am. What a life?! !"£$ing great I'd say.....

Well, to keep you updated from my maid-madam session yesterday, she denied totally and we really don't know what to do. As far as we know, the house is not burnt down, and that the dogs are NOT DEAD, that's fine innit???

Right then, I don't have the whole day to speak to you lot people, me off booging, if you know what I mean, hey, I do have a bloody life you know...

The new roster

The new roster for the month of February is out, I only have long lay-overs....to Toronto ( it's snowing and freezing, I'll probably turn to ice just as I pose for the camera at the Naigara Falls, the temperatrure is -20 celcius) and Geneva ( it's nice being my first time after 1 1/2 yrs Etihad's flying there, I hope the crew's nice they can bring me around) and Cairo....ok that's just a turnaround, pphheeww!!!

I'll be flying on Valentine's Day! Big deal! It's like working in the new year....to commercialised. I'm looking forward to our 2 year anniversary on the 22nd instead, that'll be cool.

Dave's coming home tonight, after 2 weeks away, that's brilliant. I'm now spending the day on the pc waiting for the bloody maid to come home. Basically to bollock her.....oh no madam is angry!!

I came back from Frankfurt today at around 8ish....it's horrible doing a night flight, especially if you have towork again tomorrow morning, you sleep for a while otherwise you can't sleep at night but when you wake up just after 4 hours of sleep, you have a HUGE headache and like you are niether here nor there.

But hey, who's complaining, I still love my job...hehehe

The trip was nice,the crew was nice but their safety knowlewdge was shite!!! And I gave them a hard time about it, don't you worry! They don't realise the importance of safety in the aircraft. Seriously, even a monkey can go beef or chicken!!! Whatever, I think that they know now that when they fly with me again, they better @#$%ing know their safety! hee hee

Dave's still in Monye Carlo, I don't know if Imi's here, she's not called Dave yet ( she's Dave's new PA ) well,if we think she's shite, she's gone, but she doesn't know that, she better learn fast.

Aida's coming back from her long Toronto 9-day flight tonight at midnight. I'll probably be asleep by then. I hope they don't call me tomorrow, I'm on stand-by from bloody 4 in the morning!!!

Oh yah, my best friend said that the little one from Narnia looked like her little one. I can't remember, hey, children grow, and if you are reading this Junita, I'm still waiting for Tina's picture so that the world can see!!!

Good afternoon, everybody!! Let's see.....what's new...

I just woke up!!! Lazy? No!!! I just came back from London Heathrow at 2.30am!!! KKKKKRRRRRAAAZZZZYYYY!!!! Nobody's home, Aida's in Toronto, Mattias in the office for stupid CMD, Karen's fone's switched off and Shweta's not picking up her fone!! I have to top up Dave's fone, but i tot i will do it wen the maid comes. hehehe.....
Dave's in Rome, Sven Goran's in hot soup ( watch sky news ) and the Emir of Kuwait's six foot under!!! That's all....

What shall I do today? I shall make my room a little neater(it looks like a ship wreck, as usual Mom would say) NOT!!! and have a movie marathon!! Speaking of movies, I watched The Chronicle Of Narnia last Friday wif Dave, was it a Bible thumping movie? It's a religion thumping movie, I think. It's all about being good,like really good.Watch it if you've not, it's good. Dave's watched Jarhead, I might go and watch that tonight.

Oprah just ended. She talked about women who lost control about themselves, due to relationships or sexual abuses. Speaking of sexual abuses, there are some people in the world who do get away and that is really not fair. Who is to blame? The abuser? The victim? Or the politics? For example, if someone came from a poor country to work in a ‘good’ and well paying job to support her family back home is threatened to perform such evil acts otherwise she will be ‘kicked out’ the job or country, who is now to blame? The abuser who is a twat and the others who know about it cursing that the idiot will suffer from AIDS or the victim who is not strong enough, to know that there are some people who will help her stop that act and that the job is not worth her self respect? Oprah said that the victim usually does not know that there are people or groups who will stand by her and help her get through all this. But I’m just wondering that why in this 21st century that there are ladies in the world who is well educated do not know this fact. However, I believe that when she knows but when she is in the situation at that point, she will forget about such groups. She tends to feel low and useless and mostly ashamed. Ashamed about how silly can she be to fall into such situation, and the longer she holds back to tell anyone, the more difficult it is to even talk about the subject. Politics? Rather not go in there, too dangerous, u get my drift?

Anyway, I’m here at home on standby. It’s ending in an hour. One more day before I go to sharjah to my other half, I just hope that the company don’t call me tomorrow for a flight as it Dave’s going on a 2 week Euro-trip to Rome and Monte Carlo!! So I won’t get to see him for a long long time. Oh yah, don’t get the wrong idea, it is work not holiday!

Aida, Mattias and I decided to be lazy and go to the cinema instead of the cornice with Karen and Elly. It’s too cold, is my reason…hahahahahah
